These dolls were created when material was scarce, 1800's. They were frequently made for babies and little children to keep them busy in church. If the doll fell to the floor it was quiet. |

| This is the great Michelle Obama from the Danbury Mint collection. She is made of porcellin wearing a replica of the inaugural gown designed by Jason Wu 2009. The original dress is now in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. The first lady (from 2009-2017)dazzled in this one shoulder ivory chiffon gown with sequined flowerettes from top to bottom. She has dangle earrings, beaded bracelets, and a diamond ring.
